The annual Traditional Wooden Boat Show was held on Sunday June 22nd from 10:30 - 4:00. The event attracted those with a passion for boats and boat building, boat owners, and those who have never had a chance to see a hand built boat up close.

Visitors explored the museum's exhibits and were treated to the fantastic music of Clay Hepburn, John Lepore and Heather Powell.

Museum volunteers were on hand to field all manner of boat building questions.  Participants Tom lavis from the Egmont Heritage Centre and Larry Westlake of Westlake Boats were also kind enough to share their knowledge of boat building and local maritime history.

Thank you to all the participants, volunteers and musicians who donated their time to make the event so memorable.

See you at next year's event!
